Wow...that was a bold move. You can never anticipate Brian's draft.

I had a plan coming in based on what happened with the middle pickers. Could have been two hitters if certain guys slipped just a little...Charlie Blackmon maybe

I was very conflicted on my first pick... since I typically stink at pitching and stolen bases, I tried a different strategy this year. And I had a pitcher selected for round 2, but got sideswiped one pick ahead of me.

Flying home from The Dominican Republic, will be on radio silence from around 11am to possibly 6pm (unless airport has WiFi). We are thru 3.11 now. I have my 4.09 selection on autopic but hesitant to do 5.04 unless some things become clearer between now and then. Thanks crucial this early to pick 20 picks away.

If you see 5.04 on autopic then all is good, otherwise sorry in advance.

Part of the plan. A first round talent in the 3rd round allowed me to think about snatching two pitchers early 8)
Risk / reward for sure!

What the heck? The draft was going like a pro, now people are all over the place? What cheat sheets are some of you looking at

Wow...aren't you the pot calling the kettle black (as I'm typing this I'm realizing what a dumb expression that is). Olson and Acuna are way down the list on my cheat sheets, but if you believe in a guy and think he might not be around when it comes back to you, you go for it.

You are have a gutsy draft so far.

There are four teams whose draft I like better than mine. Tough year for my queues, everyone solid (still see a few reaches)

Brian (not one of the four) looks like he is giving us a head start by picking everyone a round or two earlier than they should go, but that is the perils of the turn slot.... but yes that comment shows I am still bitter over his come from behind fantasy football win over me with literally a few seconds left on MNF’s clock.

Ohtani boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side.
The summer's gone, and all the roses falling,
It's you, it's you must go and I must bide.
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow,
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow,
It's I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow,
Ohtani boy, ohtani boy, I love you so!

Not surprised I was “that guy” but I am ok with where I got him.

won't be watching anymore tonight for my pick, and I don't have the auto-draft enabled. So if it gets to me tonight, it will be first thing tomorrow before I pick.

Yes Mr. AutoDraft you are still bitter :P My 2018 team is better than my 2017 team that WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP!

And yes, I am occasionally picking guys that are down a bit on the ADP but guess what...I do that every year in the middle rounds especially when I pick on the end. I go into the draft with "My Guys" at specific spots and if I have to overpay than I do for the right player. I was getting Acuna this year no matter what. If I didn't buy that solo lottery ticket at 85 there is no way he would have been there at 108 with this group.

If Acuna ends up being the next Mike Trout than all this is moot and I win the league

Great draft everyone. Should be a real competitive year. 8 days and 42 minutes per pick as a group average I think are records. Plus my total clock of 5:25 (an average of 14 seconds per pick) is a personal best. (I do all my thinking while someone else is on the clock).
