Re: [BASEBALL] Hackers 2024

I was excited to pick at the turn this year, but I’ve been getting sniped left and right. I was torn between Glasnow and Gallen. In the end I went with Glasnow, if Glasnow can stay healthy this year he could be a CY Young. If not then that’s fantasy.

Re: [FOOTBALL] Pocket Protectors 2022 Draft Discussion

The running backs flew off the board in round 1 and early round 2. Once Chubb went off the board I knew I had to take Fournette because I was not enamored with what I may see in round 3 for an Rb 1.It hurt to pass on both Diggs and Adams. I immediately had buyers remorse but we will see. I already d...

Re: [FOOTBALL] Pocket Protectors 2021 Draft Discussion

I had Fields queued up since round 11. I just wasn’t sure when I should take him. He was one of those payers that just making it back to me and when he came back again, I knew had to take him there. I know the feeling, hanging out in the middle of the pack you get players sniped from the front and f...

Re: [FOOTBALL] Pocket Protectors 2020 Draft Discussion

I actually like the Hunt pick. I had him ranked as a 6th rounder and going in the 5th is reasonable especially with his skill set. I almost took him round 5, but went with Sutton. Hey Wrigs, what are they saying about Sutton in Denver? Does Brady have enough left to make both Godwin and Evans produc...

Re: [FOOTBALL] Pocket Protectors 2020 Draft Discussion

I was staring at Kelce and Julio as the backs were flying off the board. I was more then happy to take Julio at 22.

Re: [BASEBALL] Hackers 2020 Draft Discussion

I was hoping Judge or Stanton would fall back to me. I agree Jeff, with the extra time off it gives Stanton and Judge more time to heal up. Solid picks Kev! I took them 1-2 last year. Maybe it will work out better for you then it did me.

Re: Hackers football 2019

I had such a tough time choosing between CMC and Kamara, then I realized they are the same player.

The holdout stuff is BS. Zeke and Gordon need to understand that fantasy football is depending on them. Kev, if Zeke wasn’t holding out I would of taken him 2.

Re: [FOOTBALL] Pocket Protectors 2017

Even though this years draft is taking longer than prior drafts, I still love the anxiety of waiting for my pick and the heart break when my guy gets scooped up right before I pick. Like in round 1, how didn't David Johnson fall to me at pick 10, totally ruined my day. Daz- I like the fact that you ...

Re: Xerox Hackers 2016

I literally stared at the draft button for a good five minutes thinking should I or shouldn't I. Tulo scares me but "what if" he can put together a healthy season. Heres to hoping that he does.I'll try to keep those wild trade offers holstered.

Re: Xerox Hackers 2016

I looked at the bright side of the 10th pick. Its not a bad spot, just preferred earlier. The candy at the beginning of the round is always better.Everybody wants a snickers or a twix but nothing is wrong with a butterfinger.

I felt like a kid in a candy shop. I had a tough time choosing. I went with gut, and chose Rizzo. Sorry Rich. I almost took Miggy.

Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2015

I think Lacuna is looking to hold the total clock record in Draftime history. You know one of those records that will never be broken. This will rank up there with WIlt's 100 point game, Dimaggio's hit streak, Gretzky's point total, and Ted WIlliams's 406 batting average.

Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2015

I have never owned Eli. I hope he can pick up where he left off last season. I was thinking Kev may corner the market on qb's so I felt I had to take him. Its only the 8th round but I feel like everyone has been picked. Its crazy how you wait on someone and they are about to make it back to you and ...

Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2015

RIch I was hoping Brees would continue to fall. Kevin I almost pulled the trigger on Peyton in round 4 but decided to buy into the hype of Jordan Matthews. I know we say this a lot but my que was destroyed during this round.

Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2015

The thing about the live draft is it maybe hard trying to get everyone to go on the computer at a certain time. I'm pretty sure we have people in this league in different time zones. Honestly I like the off-line drafting because its exciting getting that email saying your up and you look at the que ...

Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2015

Tell you the truth I wouldn't have blinked an eye if Lacy, Bell, AP, Charles or Lynch went number 1. I feel any one of those guys can be the top pick. In years past it was always 2 guys that can go 1, but now there are 5 guys. Can't go wrong with Lacy in that offensive juggernaut they call Green Bay.

Glad to hear Jeff! Wish you a speedy recovery.

These last two rounds have demolished my que. I had my eye on JD Martinez and Chris Carter thinking one of them would fall. It was a gamble I took and lost. Nice picks Rick and Claudio.

Re: [BASEBALL] Xerox Hackers BASEBALL Draft Discussion 2015

I was just asking myself which round to draft Kris Bryant. I guess when you want someone you do it by any means necessary. Even though early he could turn out to be a good pick especially in Roto.

Re: [FOOTBALL] ACS Hackers football 2014 draft discussion

Last year I waited too long on a qb and think I had to settle for Eli. Before the draft I was gunning for Luck, but Rich snatched him up. Rich grabbed him a little early but Luck def wasn't making it back to him in round 4. When you want your guy, you want your guy. With the thought of having Peyton...
